100 Tajik teens expected to participate in the national stage of the World Robot Olympiad 2019

100 teens aged 10 to 18 have applied for participation in the national stage of WRO 2019 that will take place at International Presidential School.  

Members of Tajikistan’s national team will be selected from among young innovators participating in the national stage to represent Tajikistan at in the WRO 2019 International Final in Hungary. 

The WRO 2019 International Final will take place in the city of Gyor, in northwestern Hungary, from November 8 to 10 with over 3,000 participants from 65 countries competing in four age groups below 19 in the categories of math, sciences, technology and IT.  

The WRO 2019 International Final is organized by Edutus University, WRO National Organizer in Hungary.  Several Hungary ministries and agencies are involved in organizing the event.

The main objective of the World Robot Olympiad is in giving as many young people all the opportunity to develop their creativity and problem solving skills in a fun and engaging way.  This is done by organizing robotics competitions.
