A jamaot head found hanged in his house in Shahritous district
A chairman of one of jamoats (village community) in Shahritous district of Khatlon province was found hanged on the night of February 10, a source within the Shahritous district administration told Asia-Plus on February 11.  
“The chairman of the “Joura Nazarov” jamoat, Khoushqadam Nodirov, was found hanged in his house last night," said the source.  “The circumstances of the incident, and the reasons that prompted him to take such an extreme step, are still unknown.”
According to him, the law enforcement authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
A 34-year-old Khoushqadam Nodirov had previously worked as notary ad chief specialist of the department on observing national traditions and rituals in this jamoat.  
The jamoats (village communities) are the third-level administrative divisions in Tajikistan, similar to communes or municipalities
