President and mayor open hospitals in Dushanbe, erected for treatment
Yesterday, President Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali visited the hospitals erected in the capital to treat patients with coronavirus. These four temporary hospitals will be able to simultaneously accept about 2 thousand patients with coronavirus infection.
One of the temporary hospitals created on the basis of the new building of the Republican Medical College in the metropolitan Polytechnic. The building was converted and prepared there 500 beds for patients and the working conditions of 150 doctors, a source in the administration of the mayor of Dushanbe said.
In addition, in the Sino metropolitan district, the president commissioned a new temporary hospital, which was converted into a hospital on the basis of the new hostel of the Tajik National University. This hospital can accept 650 patients, about 200 medical staff are employed in it.
Two temporary hospitals were also opened, reequipped for patients with coronavirus at the training center of the Border Troops of Tajikistan and the Olympic Reserve Training Center (Manege), which can accept about 500 patients.
All handed over temporary hospitals are equipped with modern equipment, provided with medicines, protective equipment for doctors.
