One Killed, Two Hurt In Parwan Flash Floods
Flash floods in the central province of Parwan on Sunday evening left one dead and two others injured, local officials said.The flash floods happened in Tajikan area in Jabal Saraj district near the Salang Pass.
Those affected were residents of Jabal Siraj district, local officials said, Jabal Siraj district governor Saifullah Bedar said.
“The floods have caused heavy damages to the residents of the Jabal Siraj,” he said.
Officials from the Salang Maintenance Department said that floods have also happened in parts of Salang Pass and have closed the highway to traffic.
