Explosion near COVID-19 test centre in the Netherlands
An explosion blew out the windows of a COVID-19 testing centre in the town of Bovenkarpsel in North Holland, Dutch police said on Wednesday.

No one was injured in the blast, police told AFP in a statement.

The explosion took place at 6.55 am.

In January, a COVID-19 testing centre in the town of Urk was set on fire by rioters opposed to the country's lockdown.

The coronavirus lockdown measures have sparked protests and civil unrest throughout the Netherlands.
